Liberty Fall Festival in Liberty, Missouri
The Liberty Fall Festival in Liberty, Missouri is one of the highlights each year for the Liberty area and is presented by the Liberty Chamber of Commerce.
According to the Liberty Fall Fest website the festival can be linked back to Clay County 4H and William Jewel College Homecoming Events in 1934.
It happens each year on the last full weekend in September and features elements of everything from farmer’s market type booths with local fruits and vegetables, local business vendors, food trucks, live Music as well as Carnival Rides and Games. The festival area is so popular with local vendors that it is typically sold out of spaces well in advance.
One of the highlights each year is the Parade. The Parade is typically limited to around 100 spots for local businesses, community organizations, political candidates and churches and is nearly always full making the Parade one of the main features of the weekend.
Not only can you just show up and enjoy the weekend, but you or your group can also volunteer and serve the community for this event. Typically around 150 volunteers are needed to make the weekend a success.
