Fall Flowers Fill Anne Garney Park in Kansas City, Missouri
Multiple varieties of yellow flowers are filling Anne Garney Park located at North Woodland Ave and 111th Street in Kansas City, Missouri this fall in September 2019. It is challenging to go anywhere in the park without seeing yellow.
This 100 acre park is currently open from 5am to Midnight every day. It has a large playground area for kids and a lengthy paved trail that allows you to walk all around the edge of the entire park.
According to the Kansas City Parks website there are larger plans for the park that include various sports fields, a pond and a community center that will potentially be built as resources become available. Click here to view the Anne Garney Park Master Plan.
The abundance of yellow flowers would make a great photo session opportunity for the Fall, but if that is your plan you should hurry. The photos below were taking in early September 2019. Who knows how long these flowers will last.
